Dog Sports are a great way of having fun with your best friend.
Weimaraners are very intelligent and easy to train making them ideal for various Dog Sports.
They have an athletic build and energy to burn and are always up for a challenge!
While traditional activities for many Gundog breeds include Retrieving, Tracking and Field Trials they also excell at many other fun things.
Obedience, Agility, Fly Ball, Dock Diving, Lure Coursing, the list is endless.
Many local Dog Clubs have training or try out days for owners to go along to and have a go with their dogs.
This is how I have become involved in various Dog Sports over the years.
There are lots of Dog Sports listed on the ANKC (Australian National Kennel Club) website.
Each State also has it's own Governing Body website. Dogs NSW, Dogs Qld. Dogs Vic. etc.
There's lots of information on how to join, become involved and have fun!
