Another wonderful family dog, Flori (Ch Aspenlea Black Pearl CD) was from Elsa's second litter and earned her Show and Obedience titles by the time she was 2 years old. I believe she was the only pointer in Qld competing in obedience trials at that time. Flori did well in the show ring (BOB, Group, In Show and RUBIS awards), dabbled in agility, competed in obedience and was a member of Val Bonney's obedience display team in Qld. She had a totally unflappable temperament (happy to be a couch potato or go for a run) and spent her later years doing therapy work in retirement homes and hostels and showing off her tricks.
Sadly at 14 years old she crossed the rainbow bridge having developed a very rare cancer two years earlier. She was an outstanding ambassador for this wonderful breed.
