Welcome to the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Social and Support Group website!
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier Social and Support Group is a club made up of like-minded breed enthusiasts whose aim is to preserve the true nature of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. As a group we aim to educate the public about this wonderful breed, promote responsible dog ownership and encourage owners of this breed to maintain the breeds esteemed nature.
As a group we embrace proper training, health testing including DNA testing, and activities such as, obedience, agility, flyball, and lure racing. We promote community work like Pets for Therapy, support for registered, reputable breeders, and providing the public with a forum within which to seek advice and understanding.
We will campaign against the misidentification of our breed, and aim to ensure that the breed is registered and correctly identified as the Staffordshire Bull Terrier in years to come. We hope to include the public in our celebrations of what makes this breed great through fun days, activity days, information evenings and holding stalls at various pet friendly events.
