About The Club

History:

Victorians who were admirers of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, established the first organisation in Australia to represent the breed.  Known as The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Enthusiasts’ Group, we organised social activities, health testing sessions and a process for rescuing/re–homing wheatens.  Some years later, in June 2007, we set up The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of Victoria Inc.

Our Aims:

1.        To promote the appreciation and enjoyment of soft coated wheaten terriers,

2.       To encourage our stewardship of the breed by enhancing the development and welfare of soft coated wheaten terriers,

3.        To organise social events, workshops, seminars and informational activities.
