Keep your Chi in good health

It is very important to not over feed your Chihuahua as this can cause serious health issues. Our breed is so cute and adorable that you want to give snacks and treats on top of their daily meals. Therefore, because of their size they are prone to put on weight. It is very important that they have good space available for excersise, it can also be tempting to carry them around because they are small. Remember; even though they are small, they are still a dog that need to be treated like their bigger cousins.

Some issues resulting from chihuahua obesity are below

  • Heart disease
  • High blood presure
  • Diabetes (Type2)
  • Joint issues (Arthritis)
  • Patella issues (Luxation)

So no matter how much he or she begs for those treaties be stong for them.
