We continue to import dogs with proven records our latest being in 2012 CH/UK CH Wilmit Braconnier De Debucher, who has a proven record in the UK and a multi group winner, since his arrival he has continued to promote the breed with BIS, and multi BIG & RUBIG wins. 2012 however, has been a year for the homebred GBGV with Maureen, Darrell and Michelle Fraser (WA) making up CH Rickaby Always The Clown, and have also had success with Rickaby Believe in Me. Jacky Harnett (QLD) had exceptional success during 2012 with CH Rickaby Bound For Glory (Quincy) with wins including Baby Puppy in Group Brisbane Royal. Helen Stanford (NSW) has had major wins with Rickaby Bella Donna. Our own CH Rickaby Break O Day Dawn and Bohemia have also had many major wins with very limited outings. The latest pups born January 2013 are also making their mark in ring with Rickaby Dare to Dream (J Harnett/K Dorr) with multi classes in group, and our own show team Rickaby Dare To Stare, Rickaby Chasing Dreams and Rickaby Cruise also having won both classes in group and classes in show. We are a home bred kennels, importing the first GBGV into Australia with us as a family, followed more recently by Holmchappell Marceau from the UK. Our home bred girl "Maddie" was the first Ausbred GBGV Champion and has now been both BOB at both Melbourne Royal (2011) and Sydney Royal (2012) at less than 18 months. We have top quality imported European lines and aim to produce GBGV of good type and sound temperament. Frozen semen is available for approved matings. please contact us if you would like more information. International shipping can be arranged to approved breeders. Rokeena also made it's mark internationally with 4 USA Champions and the amazing Multi BIS All Breed winner, 'Am & Aust.Gr.Ch. Rokeena Carte Blanche' who not only won the USA PBGV National in 2008 but went on to become #1Hound in the USA in 2009 capping it off with #4 In Group at Westminster in 2010. 2012 has also been amazing with our top dog Sup.Ch.NZ Grd.Ch Rokeena Garcon Reveur win Runner Up in Show at Melbourne Royal, end the year as #1 Hound and #3 All Breeds, along with 4 more Rokeena PBGVs gaining their Supreme Championships.
