Lowchen -

This delightful little breed is know for it's clown like temperament. Ever the entertainer, Lowchen love to be in the company of people and children, as well as other dogs, often mimicking behaviours that they learn from their companions. This demonstrates their tractability. They can be a highly athletic and active breed, but love to snuggle up on the couch with their owners too. They do have fixations with chew toys and can be territorial about this when it comes to other dogs. It can be hard to believe that such a big personality can fit into such a small dog! They have a long straight to wavy silky coat, which needs regular grooming and comes in a variety of colours. They can be kept natural, in their traditional Lion clip or pet clip. They are a hypo-allergenic breed.

Why promote your show to the general public? They may be considering buying a puppy and choose a purebred based on the dogs they meet at the show. They may become interested in showing their own dog in future. Even if neither of these things happen, they will see that dog shows are something that the dogs enjoy and that the handlers all love and care for their dogs.
