| (Photos taken @ 33months of age & almost 4wks pregnant!) Kariss Had her first taste of show training in Baby Class as a little 'roadie' during our 3 month family caravan trip through South Australia to Victoria in late 2012. At show outings en route, she obtained her first CC points from the Minor Class. Then at the 15th National Welsh Corgi Specialty in Melbourne, Victoria, Kariss very pleasingly won 3rd (out of 21 - Cardigans & Pembrokes)under Mr Bill Shelton (USA)and then went on to win 1st place (6 entries)in the Minor Puppy Bitch class under Mrs Tracy Irving (UK). Enjoying a long break from the ring and just getting her party dress on occasionally as the 'token' Pembroke at judges training lectures, a very out-of-coat Kariss completed her show career with a R/up Best in Group under breed specialist Mrs VJ Hutton of NSW. |
