Welcome to Edenridge
I am a proud ANKC registered breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels & Tibetan Spaniels.
I live in the beautiful Hunter Valley NSW, with my husband and a wonderful menagerie of dogs that include my Cavaliers, Tibetan Spaniels and a German Shepherd, plus two horses and two British Shorthair cats. I have owned, bred and loved Cavaliers since 1992 (34 years) and first began showing them in 1996, with some lovely successes over the years.
In 2020 I added Tibetan Spaniels to our family. Their quirky, super cute personalities and clown like antics never cease to amuse me.
I have always strived to breed for soundness, correct size and type and raise happy, healthy, well-adjusted dogs with beautiful, confident, outgoing temperaments. I sometimes have puppies available to loving, responsible homes. All puppies which are not kept for breeding/showing are sold on Limited (Pet) Registration with a desexing contract. They come vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and vet-checked before going to their new families.
As well as having puppies available at times, I occasionally have retired girls and boys looking for a their furever homes.
Behaviour & Socialisation
My puppies are born and raised in our home and spend their first few weeks in our living room which has a heated whelping box and playpen set up with enrichment toys. Puppies are handled daily from birth, receiving lots of close attention and interaction with us as well as any visitors who drop by for a cuddle.
Being raised in our home, puppies are subjected to all the usual household noises. As they grow and develop, they get introduced to an outdoor puppy pen (weather permitting), with mum and with lots of toys and new stimuli. Mum is free to come and go as she pleases.
I gradually increase the size of their playpen until they are old enough to run freely and interact with my older dogs, including our beautiful German Shepherd, Michonne, who is absolutely brilliant with them; she's wonderfully nurturing and is fabulous for helping to boost their overall confidence!

My dogs are well known for their beautiful temperaments, confidence and outgoing natures; previous puppy families often return for another Edenridge puppy time and again.
Some of my lovely Cavaliers work as therapy dogs, visiting schools, hospitals, nursing homes and have appeared in court as support for victims of crime. I'm proud to say that some of my dogs have also appeared on TV, in commercials and plays, so they are not only beautiful but talented as well!
Health
I regularly heart and eye test my dogs and all of my dogs are DNA tested for known breed specific diseases.
I hold an annual Heart Clinic for breeders and pet families at my home which is attended by a world renowned Cardiac Specialist.
Diet
I feed my dogs a diet of raw wholefoods, which mainly consists of raw beef, kangaroo and chicken mince, minced kidney, heart and liver, added seaweed meal, kefir and occasional blended steamed vegetables. They are also given raw bones (chicken necks, turkey necks, brisket or rib bones) once or twice a week.
I introduce puppies to a sloppy porridge of raw turkey mince mixed with goats milk and mashed pumpkin from the age of 3 weeks and as they get older other raw mince types and offal are added until they are completely weaned at 6 to 7 weeks onto the diet above. They get introduced to chewing on raw chicken necks and raw meaty bones from the age of 5 weeks.
Home Environment
My husband and I live on a small fully fenced acreage with a beautiful big open house yard; our home has a large covered porch where we love to sit and watch the dogs running around, playing and exploring the property.
All of my dogs are free to roam inside and out of the house through a doggy door which leads from their dedicated indoor area to the back yard; they have their own boudoir in our family room where they sleep at night (or whenever they choose; needless to say they spend most of their time inslde LOL).
