Khira winning her first All Breeds Champion Best in Show at age 15 months

 

  

 

What an outstanding career this little lady has had. Khira is a multi Best in Show, Multi Reserve in Show, Best in Group & Class in Show winner and at only 15 months of age Khira won her first Best in Show all breeds champ show, giving her the distinction of being not only the first bitch in Australia, but also the youngest amstaff to win a Best in Show at an all breeds championship show. She has qualified twice for both Queensland Top Dog & Top Puppy of the Year finals. One of Khira's most memorable wins were Best in Show at the November 2003 NSW Amstaff Speciality making her the youngest amstaff at that time to win at the prestigeous event. The same weekend she went Best of Breed both days of the Spring Fair as well as Runner Up to Best in Group at the RNSWCC Spring Fair (over 2000 entries), also a first for amstaffs in Australia. She has also won Best of Breed at both the Queensland Royal Show and the Sydney Royal Easter Show. And has won many Best and Reserve in Shows, as well as back to back All Breed Best in Show wins (Championship Show).

Khira's power, beauty and balance in the ring are only matched by the lovely nature of this young lady who has achieved so much in a short period. Khira is ataxia clear.

***NEWSFLASH***

At 9 years old Khira finishes off her show career winning Challenge bitch and RUBOB at the Ipswich Kennel Club double champ shows (30 amstaffs entered), followed the next day winning Reserve Challenge Bitch and Veteran in Show at the American Staffordshire Terrier Club of Qld 2010 Championship Show. What a great result for my grand old girl to retire on
